It was almost 65 degrees in Northern Virginia today...way too warm for me for December. It felt like springtime, but my landscape says otherwise. These leaves appear to be holding on for dear life....
But I do love the bits of moss peaking through the piles and piles of leaves that have accumulated in my wooded back yard....
I must brace myself, as the temperatures on Tuesday will have single-digit wind chills. Personally, this Chicago-born girl can't wait for some cold weather!
Thanks for stopping by and Happy New Year!
This has been a crazy winter so far! We were in the 40's a couple days ago. I want snow instead of all this dull gray/brown coloring. Shouldnt be able to see the ground still!
ReplyDeletebeautiful shots, love the moss

great photos and we all seem to be going through unseasonal weather.
ReplyDeleteGreat leaf photo! It's been warm here too. My husband commented that if it keeps up, he'll have to mow the yard soon. We even have dandelions!!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year!
Love those leaves and the dash of green moss.
